Vanilla simple syrup

Easy to make and restored in fridge properly closed can stay for up to a month

What you need:

  • one cup water (I use filtered)
  • one cup sugar
  • one vanilla bean cut in length

How you make it:

  1. Add water and sugar into a small saucepan and put on medium heat
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves
  3. Remove from heat and add the vanilla bean
  4. let sit for several hours
  5. When completely cold remove the bean and store in a glass bottle properly sealed in fridge
