Easy to make and restored in fridge properly closed can stay for up to a month
What you need:
- one cup water (I use filtered)
- one cup sugar
- one vanilla bean cut in length
How you make it:
- Add water and sugar into a small saucepan and put on medium heat
- Stir until sugar dissolves
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla bean
- let sit for several hours
- When completely cold remove the bean and store in a glass bottle properly sealed in fridge
