Green Rooibos Watermelon Cooler
What you need:
- 1 tablespoon Green Rooibos Organic
- Watermelon wedge approx. 3 cm thick (10cm x 10cm in size)
- A couple of sage leaves (can also use mint leaves)
- A few ice cubes
- 1 lime
How you make it:
- Brew the Organic Green Rooibos Tea in a mug according to instructions on the package. When done, remove the leaves and let the tea cool at room temperature before placing in the fridge to chill (where it will keep for up to 24 hours, should you wish to make in advance).
- Remove the seeds from the watermelon then blend until liquid and smooth.
- In a serving glass crush a few sage (or mint) leaves to release the flavour. Add equal parts watermelon and tea and stir well. Add a few ice cubes, a generous squeeze of lime, and garnish with sage or mint leaves.
